There is direct access to over 30 miles of groomed trails – many of them drawn through protected terrain, others that wind up towards the bare mountain for magnificent views and silence.
The trail system in Bruksvallarna is part of the Nordic Ski Center, the world's largest continuous network of cross-country trails with a total of over 300 km of groomed trails throughout Funäsfjällen. You can go classic or skate, take a short evening ride on illuminated trails or go on full-day trips towards Ramundberget, Tänndalen or mountain stations further away – all connected.
The tracks are prepared daily during the season, and several stretches are snow-sure well into early winter. There are technical trails, child-friendly rounds and ski playgrounds, as well as cross-country ski rental, waxing huts and several accommodations with direct access to the tracks. Several cafes and shelters along the way make it easy to take breaks with a view.
