Skiing at Funäsdalsberget – Mountain feeling with comfort
Funäsdalsberget offers varied skiing for the whole family right in the heart of Funäsdalen. With a total of 18 slopes and 5 lifts, there's something for everyone – from beginners to experienced skiers looking for steeper challenges or pristine snow.
The slope system consists of 3 green, 6 blue, 6 red and 3 black slopes, as well as 3 unclimbed slopes for those who want to explore more natural lines. The longest slope is 1200 meters, and with a drop of 290 meters, you get a real skiing experience with sweeping views of Funäsdalssjön and surrounding mountains. The snow park and child-friendly area make the mountain a popular choice for both young skiers and freestylers.
The summit reaches 940 metres above sea level, and from the village's 650-metre location you can easily take the gondola or other lifts up – with ski rental, restaurants and ski school within easy reach. In total, there are two ski rentals and 14 restaurants in the immediate area, as well as grocery stores that make your stay comfortable and easily accessible.
Funäsdalsberget is not just for downhill skiers – the area has direct access to over 300 km of cross-country trails, 450 km of marked trails and 600 km of snowmobile trails, making it an excellent base for all winter adventures. The skiing experience here combines a genuine mountain environment with modern comfort – all within walking distance.
