Tänndalen is one of Funäsfjällen's most snow-sure and scenic ski areas, nestled between mighty mountains and sparkling expanses. Here you are offered a genuine high mountain experience with extensive views, plenty of natural snow and a large selection of slopes for all levels.
The ski area includes over 50 slopes and 12 lifts, making Tänndalen one of Sweden's largest lift systems – but without crowds. Here you will find everything from wide, well-prepared slopes for the family, to challenging black slopes, off-piste terrain and forest skiing for the adventurous.
Families with children enjoy the children's areas with button lifts and playful terrain, while freestyle skiers can challenge themselves in the snow park or in the natural features that the mountain offers. Along the mountainsides, summit tours and cross-country trails also await, with direct access to the Nordic Ski Center's miles of groomed trails.
When it's time for a break, you can sit down at one of the cozy restaurants or mountain cabins along the system. Local ingredients are served here with a view of the mountain expanses – a treat for both taste and mind.
Tänndalen is also the gateway to Funäsfjällen's common Mountain Pass, which gives you access to both alpine skiing and world-class cross-country trails – all in one destination.
