WHAT APPLIES WHEN I BOOK ACCOMMODATION, APARTMENT OR ROOM.

 
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?

WHEN DOES MY BOOKING BECOME BINDING?

It is the Guest's responsibility to check the confirmation and to ensure that the arrival and departure dates are correct. The booking is valid for both the booking place and the guest as soon as the registration fee or the entire rent has been paid.

 
WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY?

You shall pay the price invoiced for your booking, plus or minus any changes to taxes or other unforeseen costs that have occurred after the price list has been printed. The payment must be made within the dates stated on the invoice. In case of late booking, the rent must be paid before access.

 
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T PAY ON TIME?

If You do not pay the registration fee on time, Your order will be cancelled. Please note that no payment reminder will be sent out. If you miss payment of the final payment of the booking, this will also be counted as cancellation on your part, and you will have to pay the cancellation costs stated in the Special Terms and Conditions.

 
WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL?

You can cancel by e-mail: [email protected] or by phone +46(0)705-82 75 40 and +46(0)684-212 45 or by letter.

You are responsible for ensuring that your information has been disseminated.

Cancellations made to someone other than the person from whom your confirmation was issued do not count. In case of cancellation, rules according to Special Terms and Conditions apply.

 
BUT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO ME?

You can protect yourself against the cancellation cost by purchasing cancellation insurance. This means that you can cancel up to 10 days before the agreed arrival for a handling fee of SEK 495 and the cost of the cancellation insurance. This means unforeseen events, and then the following applies:

The above rules apply in the event of cancellation in the following cases:

Death, illness or accident of a serious nature that has affected yourself, spouse, cohabitant, family or fellow travellers.

Call-up to the armed forces or civil defence.

Serious event beyond your control and unforeseeable at the time of booking.

The rules also apply to group or school trips.

You must be able to prove your disability with a certificate from e.g. a doctor, authority or insurance company. The certificate must be received by us no later than one week after the date of cancellation.

 
WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS?

If we do not provide the accommodation/apartment/room in the promised condition, or at the right time, and are unable to offer you another equivalent alternative, you have the right to terminate the agreement and receive compensation with deduction of what you have already used.

 
AS A LANDLORD AND INTERMEDIARY, WE ARE OBLIGED TO ENSURE:

You will receive a written confirmation of your booking.

Purchased services are consistent with the description. We are not responsible for promises made by
suppliers, partners or their contact person may have made a direct payment to you without our knowledge.

You will be informed of any significant changes to your booking.

You may use the accommodation/apartment/room from 16:00 on the agreed day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise confirmed.

 
WHAT ARE MY OBLIGATIONS AS A TRAVELLER?

You must take good care of the accommodation/apartment/room and follow the regulations that apply. You are responsible for all damage that occurs to the property and its inventory, as a result of you or someone in your party being negligent.

You may not use the accommodation/apartment/room for anything other than what was agreed at the time of booking, and you may not allow more people to stay overnight in the accommodation, than
what you stated when booking.

In the case of self-catering without cleaning service, it is you who is responsible for cleaning properly before departure. Missed or poor cleaning will be charged with a fee of 1 200 – 5 000 SEK.

Violation of the smoking and pet ban will be charged with a fee of SEK 2,000 – 5,000.

The minimum age for at least one person in the party is 18 years.

 
OTHER:

The accommodation/apartment/room is equipped for self-catering. Please note that the accommodation price does not include cleaning, bed linen, towels, cot/high chair unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking and stated on the confirmation.

 
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON'T AGREE?

Complaints about the accommodation/apartment/room must be submitted to us as soon as possible, but no later than 17:00 the day after arrival. Errors that occur during your stay must be reported immediately, primarily to the Cabin Host via JOURTEL +46 (0)708 24 06 65 or us (Funäs Booking AB), so that they/we have a chance to correct the problem.

We also need the complaints in writing for our handling, these are sent to e-mail: [email protected]. If we cannot agree, you can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes. It consists of an impartial chairman and representatives of tour operators and consumers. The Board's address is: Box 523, 161 15 Vällingby.

 
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

Registration fee of 25% is paid at the time of booking.

 
COST OF CANCELLATION INSURANCE:

495 SEK per booking

 
CANCELLATION COSTS:

With cancellation insurance:

This means that in some cases you can cancel up to 10 days before the agreed arrival for a handling fee of SEK 495 and the cost of the cancellation insurance. You must be able to prove your disability with a certificate from e.g. a doctor, authority or insurance company. Documentation must be received by Funäs Resort AB no later than one week after the date of cancellation.

Without Cancellation Insurance:

If cancelled earlier than 40 days before arrival, we will keep the registration fee (25% of the booking) From 40 days – until the day of arrival, no refund will be given.

 
CHANGE COST & REBOOKING:

495 SEK per booking and occasion, provided that the cancellation insurance is taken out at the time of booking. Changes can be made up to 40 days before arrival, subject to availability.

Transfer of accommodation can take place before the day of departure and will be notified to the booking location or us via [email protected]. Rebooking cost is 495 SEK per object. Please note that changing the arrival or departure date counts as rebooking.

 
CLARIFICATION REGARDING RESCHEDULING OR CANCELLATION TERMS DUE TO CORONA

In the event of a government decision that entails a travel ban where Funäsfjällen is also covered, Funäs Booking AB offers free rebooking or cancellation with a refund in addition to the registration fee.

Rescheduling or cancelling must be made no later than 24 hours before the booked arrival date, by e-mail: [email protected] or by post.

Free rebooking can only take place on one occasion, with arrival within 12 months.

The above rules also apply to Group bookings.
